Band-Aids Have Never Looked So Stylish…

Designer Cynthia Rowley has teamed up with Band-Aid to bring us a collection of incredibly cute, limited-edition band-aids. If you love all things that sparkle and dazzle, then these are for you. Glistening jewels, classy bows, and festive sequins are sure to delight. Or, if you are like me and want something a little more artsy, then the one with a collage of runway models is perfect. So fierce!

“Dress-Up” band-aids are what every girl needs. If we have to wear band-aids, then they should at least be cute. Coming in three different sizes, they are sure to hide every cut and bruise, big or small. While I love all of Rowley’s band-aid designs, my favorite are the minuscule ones that resemble jewel toned gems. Who wouldn’t want to cover an unwanted cut with a sparkling diamond or aqua blue gem?

Thanks to Rowley, the next time I get a pesky paper cut, I won’t abhor at the idea of having to reach for a band-aid. (In fact, I think they may actually be too cute to use!) Without a doubt, these are a huge step up from the drab beige ones that always clash with our LBD’s.

Bottom line: At only $10.00 per can, these band-aids are extremely affordable. With one dollar from each tin of band-aids going towards a program called Design Ignites Change, you can help students interested in architecture and design achieve their dreams. Fashion for a good cause, what more could you ask!

Five Things I Love This Week…

Diane von Furstenberg Camel Cardigan
This cardigan is proof that von Furstenberg is a genius when it comes to creating feminine things. The oversized collar, structured fit, and soft wool create for a cardigan that is simply divine. Though neutral, camel is a super practical color to invest in this fall. Wear it with jeans for an effortless look or channel your inner Blair Waldorf by pairing it with a tartan mini skirt.

My favorite part: The classic, but simple button detailing is so timeless and distinctive. I could see myself wearing this cardigan not only this season, but seasons to come.

Alice and Olivia Ruffle Skort
Cascading ruffles in a light army green. Stacey Bendet has come up with the perfect alternative to the micro mini. With the illusion of a skirt in the front and shorts in the back, this is such a wardrobe staple. When the temperatures drop, pair it with a fitted black pea coat and dark tights for a minimalist look.

My favorite part: Because this is a skort – not a skirt – don’t be afraid to wear it with your tallest peep-toe ankle boots this fall!

Valentino Lace-Effect Wellington Boots

Not your typical rubber ducky yellow rain boots, that’s for sure! With lace details, this pair of rain boots is almost too nice to wear in muddy puddles. These, however, are the perfect solution to rainy days when you need to get dressed up. Nothing clashes worse with an LBD or smart suit than a pair of neon-colored rain boots.

My favorite part: Lace! By now you are probably well aware of my obsession for all things lacy, sparkly, and frilly. While minimalism is great, sometimes a little embellishment is completely necessary.

Bloch Fox Trot Patent Jazz Shoe
Shoe of the moment: an oxford made for those with an impeccable sense of style. What a fashion statement these would make strolling through campus. The combination of butter soft leather and shoe lacing is super luxurious and classy. While I love boots, oxfords are a breath of fresh air this fall and winter. Note to self; stand out in the crowd by opting for a pair such as these.

My favorite part: The shininess of the patent leather is so fierce. It conveys an insurmountable level of style that cannot be found elsewhere. Whether wearing them with a pair of denim shorts and black tights or a black full skirt and simple blouse, the options are endless.

Mulberry MacBook Sleeve
Thanks to Mulberry you can now carry your MacBook in style. While these bags are not cheap, they are definitely splurge-worthy. From an eye-popping shade of plum to natural oak leather and the always conventional black patent, Mulberry provides plenty of options. For a stylish and professional looking bag, definitely check these out - you won’t be disappointed. If only I owned a MacBook…

My favorite part: While this sleeve is made to hold a MacBook, you can also use it as an oversized clutch. What a statement!
